*ADELINES ANTIQUES*

We have been in the antique business for about 25 years. It all started when a friend told me that the pretty pink sugar bowl I had in my cupboard was Depression Glass. She went on to tell me that it was old and could be expensive. The more she talked the more interested I became and I realized I had other pieces of the same type of glassware packed away. Then my oldest daughter gave me a book on collecting Depression Glass for Christmas, and I was hooked! I also got my husband and most of the family interested and we started looking for the creamer, to match the sugar bowl, on our vacations. It turned into a retirement hobby and eventually a small business. It took us about six years to find the creamer, but with my husbands help I found so many other pretty and different pieces of glassware and pottery (and what he called "junk") that we finally ran out of room in our house and had to open our own shop. He soon found out that some of that "junk" was worth money, and his interest grew by leaps and bounds. Our shop is in a small trailer house he bought to keep the overflow of items we bought at auctions and garage sales. We are open only in the warm weather and "when we are home" or by appointment. We sell most of our items on the internet these days as tourism has slowed a great deal.We have much more than glassware and pottery. We have most anything you can think of baskets, tools, utensils, crocks, china, churns, pickups and primitives. Just ask we might have it.
The web page will be a new venture for me. As I learn to fill it and keep it going I will keep adding more items. We have classic cars and trucks for sale and a few tractors too. These along with our antiques should keep us busy for a long time.
We hope you bookmark our web shop and visit often to see whats "new". If you have any questions we will be happy to TRY to answer them.
