GEORGIA BARRETT TIMMERMAN, 1209 Sunset NW, Watertown, SD 57201 Georgia married Herb Timmerman in 1960. They own and operate Timmerman Woodworking Company in Watertown. They have 3 children; a son, Mark and two daughters, Penny and Karen. Penny graduated from college this year and Karen is in her second year of college. Georgia's leisure hobbies have been playing bridge, gardening and sewing.
JEANNE BAUER HERNANDEZ, 265 Killdeer Court, Foster City, CA 944011.
Jeanne completed 3 years of Nurses training at Sacred Heart School of Nursing in Yankton, SD. She received her RN status in 1958. She worked at St. Ann's in Watertown for a year and married Robert Dugan (class of '53) in 1959. They spent several years in Yankton and Aberdeen and then moved to Colorado where they lived for 14 years. In 1976, they moved to California spending one year in southern California and then moving to the San Francisco Bay area. In 1977 Jeanne started her own business there, in partnership with Bob who has since left it. Her firm of Eclectics Rehabilitation Services provides Vocational Counseling Services for the Industrially injured workers who cannot return to their jobs after an injury. She enjoys running her own business and has a staff of six employees. In 1982, Jeanne married Ismael (Mike) Hernandez. Mike is a Vocational Counselor by training, and is currently Branch Manager for Northern CA for a major competitor of Jeanne's. Jeanne and Bob Dugan had four daughters. Kathie, 26, is single and living in Colorado pursuing a career in Interior Design. Eileen, 18, just graduated from high school and will be attending college this fall in business and psychology. Mamie, 16, will go into her junior year in high school and is looking forward to a career in Art. Kelly, 10, begins junior high (middle school) and is busy keeping her mother young 11 Jeanne writes, "Have fun dear classmates and please know I will be with you in spirit anyway. I'd love to hear from some of you."
BARBARA BAXTER HUGHES, 800 7th Street, HE, Watertown, SD 57201 Barb and Derald have been back in Watertown for 25 years. Derald owns the 4th Street Pharmacy and Barb is the "go-for" girl. Barb went back to school this winter to renew her teaching certificate. Kermit thought we should put where we were going to retire but Barb says she is still deciding what she wants to be when she grows up. They have three daughters. Diane was a SDSU Math major and works at EROS. Her husband, Alan works at TSP in Sioux Falls. They are enroute to Seattle to work for Boeing. Nadine is a sophomore at SDSU after a year as AFS student in Austria, She is a German major. Janet is a sophomore at SDSU in Speech pathology, audiology, and health education and F.U.N. Barb writes, "Many thanks to Chuck and Kermit for pushing the reunion".
CAROL BERGAN HENKEL, 5056 Russell Avenue S., Minneapollls, W 55410 Carol graduated from the Fairview Hospital School of Nursing in 1958. For the past five years she has been a nurse at the Weight Loss Clinic. Carol was married in 1958 and divorced in 1971. She has not re-married. She has three children; Scott, 27; Sally, 25; and Sarah, 21.
CLYDE "BOB" BLIZZARD, 10276 Grovewood Court, Clearwater, FL 33546. Bob has a BSEE from SDSU, plus graduate work in Business Administration. He has spent 28 years working for Honeywell, Inc. He is in Engineering Management and currently Technical Director of Honeywell's Laser Inertial Navigation System (LINS) used on Military aircraft. He does lots of business travel everywhere but South Dakota. His wife, Sara, has a BS in Home Economics from the U of M (included 2 years at SDSU). Sara's the housewife but involved in numerous volunteer activities, craft hobbies, etc., and their daughter's wedding preparations. Sara is originally from Sioux Falls. Their daughter. Gen is 24 and attending college at Troy University, Alabama. 1st Degree in Public Relations received in 1984, will get 2nd degree in Elementary Education in 1986 - father believes daughter wants to be a professional student. Presently, Gen is planning to be married in October, 1986. Their son, Paul is 17 and will be a senior at Clearwater Central Catholic High School this fall. He is active in sports (Cross Country, Soccer, Track), Key Club President, and computers. Boys State and Mercer University Head Start Program selectee this summer. Paul is looking forward to his senior year, the 'oar', and actively reviewing his college options - 1st choice is Notre Dame - father says that's $$$.
KERMIT BORN, 1303 South Main, Aberdeen, SD 57401 Kermit graduated from the University of SD in 1959 with a B.S. degree. He was with the South Dakota Department of Labor for 21 years. He was Personnel Director, Director of Training and Staff Development, and Administrative Hearings and Appeals officer. Then he spent two years at Honda & Toyota Sales - Harr Motors in Aberdeen. He is currently with the Education Assistance Corporation - Auditor for Guaranteed Student Loan Program - auditing banks, credit unions and college financial aid offices in SD, ND and MN. "Tumpy" lists his activities as: tennis, golf, archery, hunting, canoeing (wilderness areas) scuba diving, private pilot license. Kerm married Cynthia Godfrey (Yankton HS grad - our greatest rival in high school). They have three children. Craig is 24 and a Systems Engineer with Electronic Data Systems Pontiac, Michigan. Tage is 22 and attending USD Medical School. Jack is 18 and a freshman at USD. Kermit says, "No grandchildren - too young for that"
JAMES BOYER, 1019 Ludwig Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95407 Jim moved to Seattle, Washington in 1956. He worked at Boeing Airplane Company with Don Lortz until September, 1959. Then Jim had a broken leg, hip and miscellaneous from a motorcycle accident and moved back to Watertown until late 1960. Then he went to Kansas City, MO and was with the Army Corp of Engineers until 1962. Then back to Watertown and Boyer Brothers Aviation. He met Bobbi (class of 1961) and got married. Jim went back to Brookings (SDSU) in September, 1966 and received his BSEE in January, 1970. He accepted an offer from Hewlett-Packard and started as Electrical Engineer in February, 1970 in Palo Alto, CA. They asked him to move to Santa Rose in 1973 - which they did. They also asked him to move to Philadelphia, PA in 1976 - which he didn't. Jim can't make the reunion but says HI!1 to everyone.
BARBARA BROOKS ANDERSON, 4660 Player Drive, Ft. Collins, CO 80525 Barbara graduated from Northern State University, Aberdeen, SD. She taught for three years - substituted for three years - and directed a pre-school for Spanish speaking children (Elgin, IL). They have lived in Ft. Collins for 13 years. They own a gutter and downspout business and recently moved to a home with 1/2 acre which allows them room to work their business out of their home. Barb is in the process of establishing a "Gourmet-to-go" food catering business. They have three children. Heather is 24 and works in Ft. Collins. Jon, 22, graduated from a two year business program in Greeley and plans to continue schooling elsewhere. Peter is 11-1/2 years old. They also have a dog and a oat.

EDWARD BUCHHOLZ, RR #5, Box 39, Watertown, SD 57201 After graduation "Smiley" decided the farm was his ambition. He went into Partnership with his father. In 1964, he married Coletta and they started their 'amily of 4 boys and 5 girls. Mark (oldest) is attending SDSU in engineering. Julie is a computer student at D.S.C. Mary will graduate from high school at Waverly this year. Jeff, Diane, Donna, David, Janet and Steve all attend Waverly. if all goes well, Smiley and Coletta will celebrate being on the farm of his grandfather and father for 100 years in 1988. He writes, "My nickname of 'Smiley' has continued to identify me for many people"
WANDA BUTZ GRIEPP, 315 N. Minnetonka, Wayzata, MN Wanda worked for Braniff Airways for a number of years. Later she was a secretary 'or a church. At the present time she is a lady of leisure and does volunteer work. Wanda and her husband, David, enjoy traveling as much as possible. They spend their summers at the lake and the winters in northern Minnesota at a woodland cabin. She says, "It's a good lifel"
AUDREY CHANDLER PEARSON, 5036 Jackson Street, NE, Minneapolis, MN After graduation, Audrey worked in a bank in Minneapolis. Audrey and her husband, Herb, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary last April. They have two sons. Paul is twenty and a junior at the U of M. Anthony (Tony) is 13. They have done family camping and have taken several long driving trips.
ROGER COON, 3403 Commonwealth Avenue, Duluth, MN Roger was in the U.S. Air Force from 1955-1959. In 1959 he married Judith Ann Russell. They have two children: Denise Marie is 19 years old and attends the University of Minnesota. Dave Lee is 16 years old and is in the 11th grade at Denfeldt High School. Since 1959, Roger has been Superintendent at Davidson Printing Co. (H.B.J. Subsidiary). For the last 27 years, Roger has been active in the MN Air National Guard as a Master Sgt.
EUGENE COPLAN, RR 2, Box 92, Henry, SD 57243 Gene has been farming since graduation. He is married to Ruth Cordell (class of 1957). They have four children. Karlene, 21, works at Dakota Midland Hospital in Aberdeen. Christian, 17, will be a senior; Stephanie, 15, a sophomore; and Becky, 14, a freshman at WHS this year.
MARIE CZECH BECKMAN, 2908 Minnetonka Drive, Rapid City, SD 57702 Marie and Bob were married in September of 1955 in Bakersfield, CA, where he was stationed with the USN. In 1957, he enlisted in the USAF making it his career until he retired in July, 1980. They have traveled to Germany, Philippines and throughout the United States, coming back to South Dakota for retirement. They have a son, Robert, who is stationed with the USAF in Germany and a daughter, Liz, who is attending Dakota Weslyn Nurses training in Rapid City. Marie works for the Department of Defense as a Fire Inspector at Ellsworth AFB. Bob graduated from Black Hills State last December and is now teaching at West Junior High in Rapid City.
RICHARD DAHL, HCR 73, Box 2110. Deadwood, SD 57732 Richard is still employed as a "route salesman" for Old Home Bread - 17 years - in Rapid City. Richard and his wife Rachel have two children. Mike is 25 years old and works as a carpenter. He is single. Sheri is 24 years old and graduate of Mankato State University. She is presently in the U.S. Navy. She is also single. GEROLD DAVEY, 1114 First St. NW, Watertown, SD 57201 Jerry attended SDSU for one year. He entered the Air Force in 1957 and served for four years. In I960, he returned to Watertown where he lived for four years. He entered the Navy in 1964 at San Diego, CA. He retired from the Navy Submarine Service in November, 1980. Jerry then returned to Watertown and is presently on the maintenance staff at the Watertown Mall
LEOLA DAVIS BLOOMGAARDEN, RR #2. Braham, MN After graduation, Leola went to California for a year and returned only to begin work for good ole Ma Bell. In 1957, she transferred to Illinois Bell and finally back to Minnesota where she met her husband, Don. They were married in 1962 and have now raised four girls - Lori, Lisa, Leann and Lynae. She went back to college and got her BA degree in Administration and is now working in management. Now their girls are in college. Don is in construction and they also have a hobby farm in Braham. Leola writes, "I've had a wonderful life and intend to have an even better life past fifty."

Sharon is divorced and has raised two children on her own. Her son, Jeff, is 22 and fulfilling the "all-American male dream" of working with cars. Her daughter, Vicki, is 19 and is attending a Court Reporting College. Sharon has worked for the City of Concord for the past 5-1/2 years. First for the Police Department and then for the Finance Department which is where she is now. Previous to that she had various types of jobs -including Instructional aide in an elementary school, Medical Secretary at a hospital, Claims Processor for an Insurance company, secretary for a development company, medical assistant and receptionist for doctors, etc. Her education has also been varied, having taken many different kinds of courses; i.e., Psychology, Business Law, a Legal Secretary Training Program, Science of Mind courses, Criminal Investigation, Metaphysics, etc. Sharon has been on a cruise to Mexico. She has also been to Hawaii, and to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Sharon writes, "In keeping with the 50's, thought I'd mention that I saw Peggy Lee ("FEVER") entertain at a night club in San Francisco and she was great !"
DARLENE DUNN WILES, 4063 Bent Tree Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34241 Darlene is married to Jerry Wiles (class of 1951). Jerry is the Director of Engineering at Rexham Corp. Darlene taught elementary school for several years. When they were transferred to Sarasota 9 years ago, she 'retired'. They enjoy what the climate offers in Florida. They have four children. Michael is married and has baby girl (their first grandchild). Suzanne Is also married. Scott and Kurt are th college students
