Marie McClintic is owner of Natural Colored Wool Studio, Groton, South Dakota.  She and her daughter, Kelly Knispel, are members of the Prairie Fiber Arts Guild, northeast South Dakota.

They raise their own sheep, shear and spin the wool.  The hand-spun wool yarn is dyed using plants or Landscape and Gaywool Dyes for colors.  The mail order business sells wool products along with spinning wheels and equipment, patterns and books on spinning and weaving, raw fleece and sheep pelts.
