Volunteers play a vital role in the perpetuation of the senior meals
program. The Board of Directors serve on a voluntary basis as do those persons on the
local advisory councils. Many volunteers serve in multiple roles and can be found washing
dishes one day and working on the supporter card fund-raiser the next. The home delivered
meals aspect of the program is carried out almost exclusively by volunteers. The vast majority of our volunteers participate in the meals program, but persons of all ages are involved. School age children contribute in a variety of ways, especially during the holidays. If you know someone that can work, entertain or participate please give them our phone number.
