The people of the weekender were what made it for me. I met so many wonderful people and heard so many great stories, from their experiences at other weekenders, to their daily lives as rockabillies. Sometimes they are the only rockabillies in their town and sometimes there is a whole community they are part of. For me it was nice being part of this community for three days. These are part of a series of portraits I will continue to make as I meet rockabillies from throughout the world as I photograph its people and events.
